With more than 133 chapters in 34 countries, CCHR is the world's leading psychiatric watchdog organization. For more than 36 years CCHR has worked with civil and human rights organizations, politicians, health care professionals, medical doctors, parents, teachers, government and law enforcement to raise awareness about rampant mental health abuses, and has helped to enact many reforms which now protect the public from being mislead, misinformed and abused by psychiatrists and the mental health industry.
