Delphi Santa Monica
In 2003, Kelly Preston and John Travolta, along with other parents interested in forming
a school on the West Side rich in education and the arts, helped open Delphi Academy in Santa Monica, CA.
Kelly and John, together with
Paul and Deborah Haggis and Sky and Arwen Dayton (Delphi Academy Alumni) formed a founding committee. The founding committee established the
dream of a Delphi in Santa Monica and helped raised the funds necessary to start the school.
Delphi Santa Monica opened in 2003 with 8
students. Currently, the school has 33 students enrolled in classes. The school teaches classes from early Kindergarten enrollment through 6th
grade. Over 20 students have graduated and moved on to other programs.
The school offers an early reading program within a richly
integrated curriculum that incorporates weekly art instruction (lessons) from Mission Renaissance Art, music and performance classes and
academics - all in a highly personalized environment.
